M&J Bottlestore, a local retail destination offering a curated selection of wines, spirits, and beverages. The business required a distinctive and memorable identity that would stand out in a competitive, visually saturated retail environment while remaining approachable and easy to recognise.
The project called for the creation of a strong, recognisable brand identity and supporting materials that would translate effectively across both physical and digital touchpoints.
Key objectives included:
The identity needed to be clean and impactful, with a concept that could be easily understood while remaining visually distinctive.
The identity was built around a single, striking visual concept that captures both the product offering and a sense of movement and energy.
The logo centres around a wave form contained within a wine glass:
This fusion of elements results in a logo that is both simple and conceptually engaging — easy to recognise while carrying a strong visual story.
The broader identity was designed to support clarity and impact across all applications:
The system prioritises immediacy and recall, ensuring the brand stands out in a busy retail landscape.
The identity was extended across key business touchpoints to create a cohesive brand presence:
Each application maintains the integrity of the core concept while adapting seamlessly to its context.
M&J Bottlestore is positioned with a clear and memorable visual identity that captures attention and communicates its offering instantly. The wave-in-glass concept creates a distinctive mark that is both playful and grounded, balancing energy with clarity.
The result is a cohesive and recognisable brand presence that performs effectively across physical and digital environments, ensuring lasting visibility and recall.
